About the company
Gulf Insulation Group (GIG) is a privately owned Saudi company established in 2009, providing comprehensive thermal and acoustic insulation solutions across the region. Through our subsidiaries and joint venture, we manufacture fiberglass, rock wool, sandwich panels, and pre-insulated piping systems that protect people, buildings, and industrial facilities throughout Saudi Arabia and beyond.

GIG is the holding company behind an integrated platform of manufacturing subsidiaries: AFICO, Saudi Rock Wool Factory (SRW), and Building Component Solutions (BCOMS), together with our joint venture Perma-Pipe Gulf Arabia. Our manufacturing facilities in Riyadh and Dammam make GIG the largest insulation producer in the Middle East and North Africa, certified under the Saudi Made Program with ISO, FM Approvals, UL, and CE accreditations.
Our companies
The number one fiberglass insulation manufacturer in the MENA region and Saudi Arabia's only fiberglass producer. AFICO is a technology partner with Owens Corning USA and ranks among the Kingdom's 100 largest exporters, with a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Dammam.
The GCC's largest rock wool manufacturer, with an annual capacity of 65,000 tons. SRW produces boards, blankets, and loose wool using Cupola furnace technology, and is ISO 9001 certified with Saudi Civil Defense and GCC regulatory approvals.
A wholly owned GIG subsidiary manufacturing high-performance PIR insulation panels and fire-resistant mineral wool sandwich panels for modern construction. BCOMS became a wholly owned subsidiary of GIG in 2025.
A joint venture between GIG and Perma-Pipe Saudi Arabia (40% GIG stake), delivering advanced pre-insulated piping systems for oil and gas and district energy, combining international technology with local market expertise.
The HR Department
Human Resources supports you throughout your employment, from your first day onward. HR handles recruitment, payroll, leave, benefits, training, and employee relations. Whenever you need help, HR is your first stop.
Your employment
The basics of your employment relationship with GIG, in plain language. Your contract and company policies are always the official reference.
Your contract defines your role, salary, and terms. Read it carefully before signing, keep your own copy, and make sure the same contract is documented on Qiwa.
New employees complete a probation period of 90 to 180 calendar days, as stated in your employment contract. During probation, your manager reviews your performance and fit. Completing it successfully confirms your employment.
Standard working hours are 48 hours per week across five or six days (Saturday to Thursday). Hours are reduced to 6 hours a day for Muslim employees during Ramadan, in line with Saudi Labor Law.
Record your attendance as required at your location. If you will be late or absent, inform your direct manager as early as possible.
Overtime must be pre-approved by your manager and is compensated at your regular hourly rate plus 50%, or as paid time off by mutual agreement. Approval authority scales with cumulative overtime hours during the year.
Your annual leave entitlement is 1.75 to 2.5 days per month depending on your job grade and years of service. Sick leave, Hajj leave, and other leave types follow Saudi Labor Law and company policy. Submit requests through the HR system in advance.
Retirement age is 65. If you resign, give at least 30 days' written notice. If GIG ends your employment (other than during probation or under Article 80), you will receive at least 60 days' notice. End-of-service benefits are calculated according to Saudi Labor Law.

Your salary is paid monthly through the Wage Protection System (WPS), on [CONFIRM: payday].

You receive annual leave and other leave types as defined by law and company policy.
You have the right to a safe and healthy work environment, with training and protective equipment where required.
You are treated fairly and with respect, regardless of nationality, gender, or background.

Three Saudi government platforms are part of your employment. Complete the action on each one during your first weeks.
Qiwa is the Ministry of Human Resources platform for employment services and contract documentation.

Company policies
Short summaries of the policies every employee must know. The full documents are the official reference.
Defines the professional and ethical behavior expected from everyone at GIG. It covers integrity, conflicts of interest, and how we treat each other.
Sets the rules for working hours, check-in, lateness, and how to report an absence.
Explains leave types, entitlements, and how to request leave through the correct channel.
Company email and systems are for business use. Use them responsibly and keep your login credentials private.
GIG has zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination of any kind. Report concerns to HR in confidence.
Protect passwords, devices, and data. Report suspicious emails or security incidents immediately.
Submit a grievance to your manager within 30 days of the issue. Your manager should resolve or escalate it within 3 working days. If unresolved, it goes to your department manager (4 working days), then to Human Capital for a formal hearing (5 working days), and finally to Executive Management if needed. All grievances are handled confidentially, and retaliation against anyone who raises one is strictly prohibited.
